Who represented an eight-year-old girl with Autism Spectrum Disorder (“Autism”),who boarded a special education school bus provided by Vacaville Unified School District (VUSD), and driven by Kim Klopson..
During the journey, Klopson subjected the girl to physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, all recorded by a camera on the bus, when she arrived at school and prepared to depart the bus. Klopson singled her out for her disability-related behaviors, ripped her backpack away, and physically manhandled her.
Kim Klopson, 64, was later arrested after a school district employee noticed visible injuries on a special-needs student. Micha successfully settled this case for $1,190,000.00.
