Guided by the mission to empower men and women who served in the military, and their families, to lead productive lives, New Directions helps Los Angeles-area homeless veterans and veterans at risk for homelessness to effectively transform their lives.

Since 1992, Congresswoman Maxine Waters has been there for New Directions at every critical stage of their growth and all veterans owe her and her staff a special tribute of gratitude

Another tireless advocate for homeless Veterans in Los Angeles is our current Mayor Eric Garcetti, whose dedication to solving LA’s Veterans homeless crisis is without equal in America.

And last but certainly not least is one of America’s best-known actors, Joe Mantegna, star of CBS’s Criminal Minds, and Veterans Advocate who has some special words about New Directions dedicated work.
