A MidAmerican Energy technician detected the highest level his machine was capable of detecting in her apartment – 1000 parts per million of carbon monoxide. To attempt to correct this deadly situation and save money, Stacey’s landlord hired an unlicensed, inexperienced handyman who failed to correct the leaks and the deadly conditions continued. The landlord refused to spend any more time or money on these repairs.
